Can't install KB5026372 - Getting 80070002 error

Windows 11 Version 22H2 won't install update KB5026372 - Getting 80070002 error.

Things I've tried:
Scannow /frc
Checking date and time
Updating chipset / graphics drivers

Downloading and running the offline update

Running the Windows Update Troubleshooter

Nothing has helped. Any suggestions?

    Same here. The common element appears to be AMD CPU's. Mine are Ryzen 9 3900's. Both of my AMD machines are failing the install of KB5026372.

    I tried all the stuff you mentioned above with no improvement.

    Did MS test this on any AMD hardware?

    I with that were true. I already tried this on both machines. I am hoping the June patch will wash this through.

    The offline install fails as well. KB5026372 is defective.

    None of the steps worked for me. Not AMD here.

    I tried downloading the update separate through catalogue, that fails when it reaches 100%.

    Please try the following methods below.

    **Make sure Windows Update and Background Intelligent Transfer services are available and running.

    Press Windows key+R to open Run then type: services.msc

    Press Enter to open Services app

    Double-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service.

    If the Startup status lists Stopped, click Start and then click OK. If the status is Running, right click then select Restart

    Double-click Windows Update.

    If the Startup status lists Stopped, click Start and then click OK. If the status is Running, right click then select Restart

    If the issue still persists, please try performing an In-place Upgrade. It will definitely help in resolving update errors. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while your personal files, settings and installed applications will not be removed.

    **Few things to check on the PC

    Unplug all external peripherals except for the Mouse, Keyboard, and LAN cable before starting

    Disable or uninstall any 3rd party Anti-Virus program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade
