Two questions:
- What is the make and model?
- Does the PC have Intel SSD or Toshiba SSD?

Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I got a brand new computer running Windows 10 last Friday. I long delayed leaving my much beloved Windows 7, and now I know why.
Every time my computer tries to update my OS to 1803, my computer hangs.
It will download the update, install it, reboot, update to 27% and restart, then go almost immediately from 30% to 43%...and stall. For hours. The other night I went to sleep and woke up the next morning and it was still at 43%. I've tried manually doing it; I have no extraneous peripherals plugged in (just my printer). I turned off Windows Defender anti-virus. Nothing works.
This is absurd.
Are there any solutions?

Two questions:
Custom built ASUS-based system from CyberpowerPC.
It has an SSD, but it's a Samsung.

Would like to look at Rollback logs.
Share Setuperr.log and Setupact.log named from
C:$Windows.~BT\Sources\Rollback\
and
C:$Windows.~BT\Sources\Panther
You can open the folder by typing the path in Run or showing hidden files and viewing through explorer.
Use Onedrive/Google Drive/Mediafire to share the files and drop the links in the next reply.
Little confused on that one, but I'll try it in the morning. It's 1.35 a.m. and don't have the mental stamina to go looking for files I don't know right now.
Will send tomorrow a.m., thanks for your help when you get a moment.
No Problems. I am subscribed to the thread.
Going to sleep now is what I would recommend too :)
