I have bought an acer nitro v15 for my brother and its a good device but most importantly the screen looked amazing, so we bought another one but the contrast is extremely low, and there is no way I could find for a way to change the contrast and brightness from the OS, in the color calibrations it just says to press the buttons on the display, but laptop screens don't come with buttons for that. The high contrast feature is useless for us because it changes everything to weird colors and I rely on colors for my work a lot I need a normal higher contrast.

Hello dave thank you, Its not a problem with the screen its the screen contrast and brightness, so it won't show with a screenshot since you will see it in your screen
It is very strange if two devices that are the exact same have different screen brightness and contrast, they should be the exact same.

Right click your Start Button and open Device Manager, then expand the display adapters section.

With regards to the color calibration you were using, is that the one available in Windows that is accessible if you click your Start Button, then just type dccw and press Enter?
Thank you for the screenshot, everything looks to be installed correctly.
On your keyboard on the function keys (F1 - F12) can you change the brightness levels from one of those keys?
