Windows 10 Yellow Screen

Hello,

I recently just reinstalled my Windows 10 on my laptop using a bootable USB. After I finished installing the OS, I noticed that the screen color is too yellowish. I've tried to turn the night light settings on and off (as well as the night light schedule), but nothing changed.

I looked up online and found a temporary "fix" for this problem. One article suggests me to create a default color profile in the color management settings. It worked immediately and my screen's color was back to normal. However, the next time I booted my computer the problem reoccurs, forcing me to open the color management settings and reset the default profile manually. Is there a possible fix to this problem? Or can I just reinstall Windows again (costs me some time, though) and hope for a change?

Also, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your video card?

    Hello,

I tried reinstalling both drivers and it worked for a while. However, the problem returns. On one occasion, I booted my device and the color seems fine, but suddenly it turned yellowish on its own after several minutes. Again, this can be temporarily solved by opening Color Management and applying a default color profile. But I don't wanna do this every time I want to use my device. Is there anything else that I can try?

Yes, sorry I meant Display Adapter. I suggest you to uninstall both, one after the other, and only once they are all uninstalled click on "Detects Hardware change".

You are on the last build available, so you system is fully updated, then the problem shouldn't be update-related.

    Hi Stefano,

Thank you for your reply. I'm using Windows 10 Home (Version 1903 Build 18362.239)

I cannot find the option "video card" in Device Manager. Maybe you meant "Display Adapters"? Also, I have two GPUs (Intel HD Graphics and NVIDIA GeForce), which one should I reinstall?
