On Microsoft Forms, If I would like my students to have 6 answers, but would only like them to be able to choose up to four, what settings can I use?

Hi NFed814,

In Microsoft Forms, when we add choice question, we can also choose to allow multiple choices for a question by changing the settings at the bottom of the question (see screenshot below), but there’s no option to limit the number of answer choices a respondent can select.

As a workaround, you can consider adding a question as Ranking, then give your options to choose from. The respondent can rank the available options and you can consider the first 4 as the answer.

Given the situation, we’ll suggest you provide your feedback in Microsoft Forms UserVoice.UserVoice is the best way to give the feedback to Product Group as it’s actively monitored by them and many new features have been implemented from our customers feedback.
