Just to let anyone concerned know, I sent an email to Alcohol Software and got this response......

........IT DOES WORK, you just need to follow these steps. All credit goes to David from Alcohol Software :)

Presently Alcohol is not compatible with Windows 8, we are testing a compatible version now and hope to release it shortly.

Please note while we are developing a new installer for Alcohol in Windows 8

You can install and run Alcohol version 2.0.2.3931 in Windows 8 by downloading SPTD version 1.83 and installing this first, you can then install Alcohol.

To download SPTD please use the following link http://www.duplexsecure.com/en/downloads

We recommend uninstalling Alcohol prior to upgrading to Windows 8.

Thank you for your Question concerning our Software.

Best Regards

David
