As for other options in resolving it. We can run online repair/Fix it, click here.
We can also clear the Windows Media Player data base. The following steps are:
- Exit Windows Media player.
- Click Start, then click Run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, click
OK.
- Select all the files in the folder, then click Delete on the file menu.
Note: You don't have to delete the folders that are in this folder.
- Restart Windows Media Player.
