Windows 10 is sending multicast ssdp packets, on what purpose they are used and how to stop them? I have ssdp and upnp services disabled.  From wireshark.

It looks like it's from Edge...

Hi, I'm Elise, an independent advisor and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

It appears to be relates to casting the screen to another device.

If you navigate to edge://flags/ then search for 'media router' you should be able to disable the feature if you wish.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

That's odd it is using the same features as chrome, since they both use the chromium engine. Other other suggestion I can give is a reboot incase it is running in the background and need to reset somewhere.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

I've disabled everything that has something to do with Media router, but when I start Edge it's still showing those messages in wireshark. There is no difference.
