I don't want to give Microsoft my photos through one drive why can't I just transfer photos via USB-C to my computer's physical storage. I only get the option to transfer to one drive but i do not want to use it! I can see the photo's and when i select them all there is only the option to save to one drive. How can i fix this?

Greetings! My name is Arif, and I will assist you today.

Could you please verify if your OneDrive account is currently linked to your computer? If so, kindly unlink your OneDrive account. After unlinking, close the OneDrive app and attempt to transfer your photos to your computer using a USB-C cable.

Since you're using an iPhone, transferring photos to your computer involves a slightly different process. Here's a step-by-step guide:

    1. Connect Your iPhone to Your Computer:
    • Use a USB-C to Lightning cable (or the appropriate cable for your iPhone model) to connect your iPhone to your computer.
    • Ensure both your iPhone and computer are powered on.

    Unlock Your iPhone:

    1. Unlock your iPhone using your passcode or Face ID.
    2. Trust This Computer:
    • When prompted on your iPhone, tap “Trust” to allow your computer access to your device.
    1. Access Photos on Your Computer:
    • On your computer, open Photos (for Mac) or File Explorer (for Windows).

Look for your iPhone under Devices or This PC.

    1. Navigate to Your Photos:
    • Click on your iPhone’s name to access its files.

Navigate to the DCIM folder (Digital Camera Images).

    • Inside the DCIM folder, you’ll find subfolders containing your photos.
    1. Copy Photos to Your Computer:

Select the photos you want to transfer.

Drag and drop them into a folder on your computer’s physical storage.

    Warm Regards,

    Arif
