Launchpad Tour Golf Simulator

Windows Vista Home Premium SP2, Gateway LX6200-01, AMD 9500 Quad 2.2 GHZ 8GB RAM, 64bit OS

I'm trying to use my  Golf Launchpad Tour Golf Simulator, When I open the LPDR Swing Analytics I get the following: Golf Launchpad is not connected. Please connect the golf launchpad to the USB Port of your computer.

I went through the T/S tips provided by ElectricSpin.Com, it's not very helpful, I unplug and plug the into my USB port, in Device manager it shows up without any errors. It also doesn't work in my Tiger Woods EA 08 game. The launchpad lights up and provides the accurate lights on the launchpad as if it is connected. I recognizes the swing with the correct lighting sequences, I believe something is not correct with the USB recognition or maybe with the inf file. I'm not sure, just speculating.

    dbleagle22001,

You would definately need to work with the manufacturer on this issue.  Make sure that you have their latest drivers for 64bit and Windows 7.  You can try to Clean Boot your system and then install the device and see if that helps.

    Thanks.

Launchpad works good with my Sony VAIO laptop, Windows Vista 32bit OS, the problem is I don't have a good enough graphics card to run Tiger Woods 08.

I've tried all of those things, I even contacted Electricspin support, but had difficult connecting with them on their terms, they can only assist for a few hours my time. This is a replacement device, I had a problem with the last Launchpad I had, It wouldn't light up.

I can't even get to the option to use the remote, I've uninstalled and reinstalled latest software, LPDR Swing Analytics, I've tried other USB ports, I don't have any other problems with other USB devices.

I've disabled my Norton Virus software.

Could it have something to do with HID and how my computer reads this device? Everything is showing up and appears to be operating correctly in my Device Manager.

Could it have something to do with my 64bit OS? I'm not a computer expert, I know enough to usually T/S things.

    Hi dbleagle22001,

    1. Does other devices connected to the USB port function without issues?

As the LPDR is detected and the lights on the device glow it should not be an issue with the USB port, however you can still try it in a different port and see if that makes a difference.

    1. Download the latest LPDR from **http://www.electricspin.com/software.html** , or install from the supplied CD.
    2. Select your club with the Remote Caddy™ or mouse. Use only the Drive mode for activation.

Not sure if you have already followed the above steps. Access the link below for more information on the above steps.

It can also been an issue with the device itself. You may try if the device functions without issues on any other computer.

You might also need to contact the manufacturer as they will understand the functionality of the product better.
