No it’s not there - have tried add a as new network location - the computer sees the NAS drive on the network but not the usb hard drive attached to the router

I understand now, it is network USB drive storage, is that correct?
If you open File Explorer, then go to Network, are you unable to see that dive there?
Hi the usb drive is connected to a speedport router if I remove from the router and connect to the pc it’s fine / the drive is visible to apple devices. It was working fine last week until windows updated

The best first option is to uninstall that device form Device Manager, then go to the support page for that USB dongle on the manufactures website, then from there, download and install the latest version of the device drivers they provide.
