Hi,

Does someone have an Explanation and a Solution to the following problem:

When I do an edit>Copy>Paste a line of "Arabic Text" from a page on the net - upon pasting, the words in Arabic Text get shifted in this way e.g. "The last word appears as the first word  upon pasting".

Why is the above happening? and is there a Solution to the problem?

Regards,

Saeed

If its a small document with couple of lines without any big formatting, Use the Notepad.

It doesn't mess up the Arabic unicode copy paste problem faced in Word.

    Hello Saeed,

Do you select any paste option when you copy and paste the Arabic text in word?

You may select the option ‘Keep Text Only’ while pasting the Arabic text and check if it works as expected.

I hope the above information helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

    Hi Raju,

I think the pasting problem is due to the "format" in which the original texts have been created. I don't have the problem with every Arabic Text on the net, just with a few.

I am just wondering, if this is due to the following:

    (1) That some Texts in Arabic are created in the Format of a .jpg or as an image, and hence they paste well in a word document...?

                                      Whilst....

    (2) Some Texts in Arabic on the net are created using the Arabic Software which when pasted in an English language version of Word get jumbled up because Arabic runs from Right-to-Left whilst English runs from Left-to-Right.

Could this be the reason why I am having problems in pasting some of the Arabic Text but not with all of the Arabic Text on the web?

And, If yes, is there a solution to the problem?

Look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,

    Saeed
