Are you using Internet in some corporate environment?
Changing proxy settings is something you usually only have to do if you are connecting to the Internet through a corporate network. In some corporate environments, network or proxy settings might be pre-set or turned off by the administrator.
Try unchecking the proxy server and check if the issue persists. Follow the steps to disable proxy:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options
- Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings
- Uncheck the Use Proxy server.
- Click Apply and Ok to save changes.
Check if you are able to access websites on Internet Explorer.
