Website suddenly removed from Bing Index after 10+ years – no response from support

Hello,
we are the owners of the website www.schoener-leben-shop dot de, a well-established e-commerce site in Germany that has been online and indexed by Bing since 2014 without any problems – until now.

On April 7, 2025, we noticed that our entire domain was suddenly removed from the Bing index. All pages disappeared overnight. Even a simple site: search returns zero results. However, the site is still indexed in Google and other search engines as normal.

We have already gone through all the Bing Webmaster Guidelines and verified the following:

  • The site is not new – it has been active and indexed for over a decade.
  • Bingbot is crawling the site regularly – confirmed via server logs and Bing Webmaster Tools.
  • Our robots.txt file allows all relevant URLs.
  • No pages have a tag.
  • No URLs are blocked via Bing Webmaster Tools.
  • The site has plenty of backlinks and high-quality, unique content.
  • There are no manual actions, malware warnings or penalties.
  • The sitemap is submitted and up to date.
  • No major technical changes were made before the deindexing happened.

We have submitted several support requests via Bing Webmaster Tools and received no response.

This sudden removal has a serious impact on our business. We strongly believe this could be a false positive, a technical glitch, or an internal filter that has mistakenly excluded our site.

We would really appreciate a response from the Bing team or anyone with insight on how to resolve this.

Best regards,
The SCHÖNER LEBEN Team

    Hi,
This is really unfortunate, I had the same issue. I sent you a message on your site contact page. Please check your submission.
    Thanks

    Exact same issue here.

Old, 15+ year website for small businesses, thousands of sales, 900+ products, thousands of words of useful content, real location, no penalties on the website, Bing still has us as "indexed".

We upgraded our server start of June, they dropped every page immediately. We have customers calling us and asking why we aren't inb Bing anymore.

Our response is simple -- "Bing dropped our website for no apparent reason, please use Google"

Bing execs want to know why people prefer Google? Microsoft does not care about webmasters or small businesses.

We do have the same problem with our online magazine that was on top positions on Bing and Bing News for over ten years. Starting May, 11th, Bing started to block our main categories and we disappeared more or less completely with all of our 6000 articles. New ones are not listed anymore. We did not change anything on our website that might have caused a penalty. I've written 13 emails now without a helpful response. The Bing support is obviously not willing to help at all.

We've tried to change and optimize a few things in the last weeks but with no result. Google works fine as well.

This must be some kind of a Bing bug or mistake or it has something to do with our Webhoster or CMS. I'm pretty sure it's nothing that we have caused ourselves.
