Backup OneDrive to a Local External Drive?

Hello Microsoft Community,

I need help trying to back up my OneDrive files to a local, external drive because I don't want to exclusively use the cloud to back up my data because of the risk of my account getting hacked and compromised and along with it, my data. Could someone please help me find a solution to back up the contents of my OneDrive onto my external hard drive with potentially a system that can compare my OneDrive to the backup on my local drive and any changes made to my OneDrive will be applied to the next backup? Thank you.

    I already have a third party cloud back up service for cyber attack protection, but I also want a local copy which is in addition to my PC.

    It was possible in Windows 10 to set up the automatic back up to save all OneDrive files to an external hardrive.

    It could be done several times a day to cover user-error type problems.

    Why has this feature disappeared in Windows 11?

    If I want to back up OneDrive locally I have to do it manually now which isn't good enough.

    When can we have this auto back up feature for OneDrive to external HDD restored please?

    According to EaseUS Customer Service Team email to me today, backup from the cloud (e.g., OneDrive) is not supported for Todo backup.
