Hello! My name is Cristiano. I'm an Independent Advisor. I'm glad to help you.
There can be several reasons why the Stereo Mix feature is not working in Windows 11. Here are some steps you can try to solve the issue:
- Make sure Stereo Mix is enabled: Right-click on the volume icon in the taskbar and select "Open Sound Settings." Click on "Sound Control Panel" under "Related Settings." In the "Recording" tab, right-click on an empty area and select "Show disabled devices," then make sure Stereo Mix is enabled.
- Make Stereo Mix the default device: In the same "Recording" tab, right-click on Stereo Mix and select "Set as Default Device."
- Update audio drivers: Go to the website of your audio device's manufacturer and download the latest audio drivers for your system.
- Disable other audio devices: If you have other audio devices connected to your system, try disabling them temporarily and check if Stereo Mix works.
- Restart audio services: Press the Windows key + R, type "services.msc," and hit Enter. Right-click on "Windows Audio" and select "Restart," then repeat for "Windows Audio Endpoint Builder."
