I have Excel from Office 365 Home. Help and other functions not working with a dialog box saying 'Your IT admin has turned off the service required to use this feature'. I'm the IT admin (Home). What did I do? How do I fix it? Will you help me?

    To LarryRichardsUS,

Thanks for reaching out. This is Gems88 an Independent Advisor. I'd be more than happy to help you.

I found a similar issue regarding clicking the help button. You can view the comment of Diane Poremsky MVP. They checked some options in privacy settings

To access Privacy settings in office 365 you can Go to file, then options, choose trust center, then privacy options then privacy settings then check the two options.

If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

Gems88, thanks or the comeback. Those two checkmarks are checked so it didn't help, but thank you.

I had the same problem, but instead of being checked, those two check boxes were grayed out.

I signed out of the user account and signed in as an administrator. There, I could check the two boxes. This made Excel’s built-in Help feature work for the admin.

Finally, I went back to the user account, and the boxes were no longer grayed out. After checking them and restarting the PC, Help now works there, too. Hopefully, it will keep working.
