Where's the app list, it's very important for me!

Hi, I did a reset on Windows 11 just a few minutes ago. It said the list for deleted apps would be saved in the desktop so I didn't care about it much. But then when the reset is done I cannot see the "list" anywhere.

Edit 1: I've found a folder called "WindowsApps" but couldn't access the folder because of the current user's priveleges.
Edit 2: I've been able to access the folder and it has two sub-folders in which they are empty.
Edit 3: Followed the instructions on Cant find a list of removed app after resetting my pc (windows 10) - Microsoft Community, still cannot find any file named Removedapps.html

Windows for home | Windows 11 | Recovery and backup

    Hi dzunggzz,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

The list of deleted apps should be located on the desktop after resetting Windows. If you could not find it on the desktop, go to System drive which is usually C: > Users > Open your user profile > Desktop.

If not, go to C: > If you see Windows.Old folder, open it > Users > Open your user profile > Desktop > Check to see if it is available. it should be a Removed apps.html named file.

Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep me updated.

Hi Dyari, I've tried all of your instructions but none of them seems to work.
I've searched the whole C: drive: some are completely devoid of any files, some are just DLL files, some are images and so on. There's just no html link at all. I guess I've lost all of my apps.
But I can still recall some of the apps like .NET Framework, Java, and C++ with these "disk and a computer" icons. Can you help me reinstall these apps?

    Thanks for updating me, dzunggzz.

That is odd. The list should be available on the desktop. May I know which apps you are exactly referring to?

To install .Net Faremware, you can enable it from Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off > Tick the version that you need to install and click OK.

You can also find instructions to install Java and C++ from the official links:

Please feel free to ask if you need further assistance.
