New Outlook won't open .pst files

The new version of Outlook for Windows (Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2023.425.600 - Production) no longer allows me to open my old .pst archive files.

All documentation refers to a File menu that this version does not have at all.

    This is surprising .. PST files allow the user to archive and organize mail .. Outlook without PST is not worth having

    This is ridiculous! I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to open an old PST file to find out the "new" version of Outlook doesn't support PST files! Thanks for wasting my time.

    Access to old pst files is a must! I have used this method to organize emails for years, and I need to be able to access these for business purposes, or I will have to find an alternative.

    Agreed! Outlook without access to old PST file is worthless. I would look right away for an alternative to Outlook... moreover, it's not a good omen for PST files that Microsoft issued a new version of Outlook that doesn't support PST.

    Can we at least get an ETA? I'm over here waiting for you guys to release something with an unknown date so I can write updated documentation for it... Meanwhile, you're letting our employees "try the New Outlook" at their leisure without giving them any idea about PSTs/Archiving or when it will be available even. Can we have a date?
