I have a lot of dll problems, I tried system file checker, manual install, third party dll fix software, and Windows reinstall (11 pro n). Nothing works, I can't install DirectX runtime it keeps giving errors... honestly I don't know what to do next...... Nothing seems to do anything.
If anyone can help me diagnose the issue or fix it. I don't know how to describe it apart from I'm missing a lot of DLL

    Hi, Andrei Maris

    Thanks for your reply.

If you have completely formatted and reinstalled the system, there generally shouldn’t be any Microsoft DLL errors. Could you please specify which DLL files are missing during the installation process? Could you provide the exact names?

    Best regards

    Hi Tommy

Yes, I used Microsoft's installation media to create a bootable USB, I did a clean install, wiped all my drives clean, and restructured my partitions ( apart from the personal file storage one, that one does not include any software or games).
It is not a matter of one particular software, just a few examples of ones that have problems: DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer, Messenger(from Meta), WhatsApp, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fusion 360 etc....

    Hi, Andrei Maris

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

How did you reinstall your system? Did you use the official image provided by Microsoft? Does this issue occur when running certain software? Normally, a fresh installation of the system using the Microsoft image should not result in issues with Microsoft-related DLLs causing the system to be unable to run.

Please strictly follow the method provided in this article to reinstall the system and test whether the issue still occurs.

Please ensure that you backup any important data, including Documents, Pictures, Videos, and more. After that, you can find instructions on how to install Windows 10/11 in the following article by MVP Andre:

How to: Perform a Custom Installation of Windows 11 and Windows 10 or - Microsoft Community

Additionally, please provide us with some examples of the issues you are encountering. If certain software is missing DLLs, you can search for the DLL locally and place it in the root directory of the software. We also recommend contacting the software developer to help configure the software’s runtime environment.

    Best regards
