What should I do? I can upload files and folders to OneDrive, but OneDrive is not accessible when I try to download files to another computer. I am using OneDrive in China. Do I have to get an VPN to use OneDrive?

Hi ViewLiShanghai,

AFAIK, all the Chinese Government has banned is the IP for the OneDrive web site.

So if you are in China, you might not be able to access this web site or login with your personal Microsoft account.

However, the OneDrive sync client function is working well, you could also try using the OneDrive sync client to sync your files/folders to your local drive and see if it works on your side.

Sync files with OneDrive on Mac OS X

Meanwhile, please do not use VPN or any Proxy settings when using the OneDrive sync client, it's sensitive to the network environment, thus any VPN or proxy settings might prevent the OneDrive from working normally.

Regards,

William
