According to your description, if your current Outlook profile has been corrupted. We recommend you may exist Outlook for Mac firstly and try to use Time Machine to backup your Outlook items as described in this article: Automatically archive or back up Outlook for Mac items.
Then you may refer to the steps in this article: Manage profiles or identities in Outlook for Mac to rebuild a new Outlook profile and add your account to the new profile to see if it works. If so, you may try to restore **** your data from Time Machine.
Note: please do not delete the old profile.
In addition, please kindly refer to: When opening Outlook for Mac user experiences Repairing Mail Profile message which never completes;
- Open Finder
- Navigate to Applications
- Right click Microsoft Outlook and click Show Package Contents
- Navigate to Contents > Shared Support and open Outlook Profile Manager
- Add a new profile and make it default
- Now open Outlook and re-add the required accounts.
