Macro is disabled?

I am trying to run a report that has worked in the past. Now when I try to run it I receive an error message stating:

Run-time error '2538':

The "l" macro action cannot be run in disabled mode.

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

I did the first time I opened it, and clicked "Enable", but still had the same problem. Now when I open the report I don't have that option anymore

Sorry I didn't explain properly, go to save as and where you see Save as Type, click in the arrow and you will see the option "Excel Macro-Enable workbook"

Not sure of what you mean. If I open the file, and go to Save As, there is no option macro enable. It just asks where/what to name the file.
