I have also installed earlier versions of my drivers with no avail previously, I can try again now but its not helped in the past.
PC Black screen crash
When running games on my PC both monitors will suddenly turn off and show "no devices connected", my PC will still be on but I know the applications have crashed from friends telling me my character in game is frozen mid air and such.
If I switch off my PC and reboot it'll reboot onto a black screen with a line of pixels on the top left side, the only way I've found around this is to boot into my bios and then save and exit from there.
I thought it was a CPU thermal paste thing so I replaced my thermal paste but the issue is now worse. I had momentarily fixed it for a month by undervolting my CPU but then windows force updated and the issue resurfaced. I have tried reinstalling windows completely and also just reinstalling my drivers, this only happens when running games and its inconsistent with its timing.
When I run sons of the forest it'll reliably happen every 10-20 mins, if I play apex legends I never know if I'm going to crash, sometimes its 4 times in one hour, sometimes I can even stream and it doesn't crash.

I am Dave, I will help you with this.
The most likely cause is your graphics card device driver.
You indicate you have re-installed your drivers, please try this method.
Completely remove the current Nvidia RTX 3080 device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturer's website to download and install their recommended version of the Nvidia device driver.
A slightly older version of that driver is more stable than the latest version.
