Auto archive of pst files for One drive

I would like to ask if creating auto archive especially a- “.pst” files in 1TB One drive storage is possible?

Microsoft 365 and Office | OneDrive | For business | MacOS

It is not recommended to store pst-files within Cloud based storage folders like OneDrive.

Due to the size of and the file lock on a pst-file when Outlook is running, synchronizing a pst-file with cloud based storage will result in pretty much a never-ending synchronization cycle and could result in data corruption and even data loss.

Best thing to keep in mind; OneDrive is the cloud solution for files, not emails. When you only want to archive a few emails to OneDrive , you can do so by simply dragging the messages out of Outlook and into the OneDrivefolder on your computer.

    Hi JSMasagca:

    It is not recommended that you save the path only to the cloud. OneDrive is suitable for backing up files and syncing them to the cloud, if you change the path to OneDrive, the files will be automatically synced to the cloud.
