Hi,

There's an SOP in my work place where our field team go to get data on a particular topic, and will need an approval to further on the topic

I want a responsive form, where by anyone who fills the form can get a downloadable receipt with a unique ID and share it for quick approval and processing.

The unique ID will surely come from the form itself, and a receipt will be shared with all details..

The grain of the data sometimes could create a situation for duplicate values if possible

Hi KoladeNathan-i-El,

If you are using Microsoft forms, you can create a form and then in Settings, check the box for Allow receipt of responses after submission and then share the form link with the users. Users can then file the form and click Submit once done. After submitting the form, they will get a button where they can click to print or get PDF as shown below. This will, however, will not generate a unique id.

Another option is that if you are a Microsoft 365 business/enterprise subscriber, you can create a SharePoint list which users can fill and use Power Automate to create a flow to get the downloaded form. Every item you create in the list will have a unique id.

If you need any help creating a Power Automate flow with the list, we’ll suggest you post in Microsoft Power Automate Community for expert assistance. This is a specific channel related to issues with Power Automate.

The reason I ask you to post a new thread is that in Answers forum, we have limited resources and very little knowledge about Power Automate and in Microsoft Power Automate Community, you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction.

We appreciate your understanding.

With Sincerest Regards,

Neha
