Why is the translation icon gone from the address bar in Microsoft Edge?

I have the setting enabled for asking if I want a page translated, but I'm not asked anymore. I tried shutting it off and enabling again with no luck. There used to be an icon that showed in the address bar, but it's gone. I've searched Microsoft's site and Community help topics. They are not helpful. Just keep getting instructions on how to enable. I've already done that.

How can I get the translation icon back? I think one of the updates screwed it up because it was working fine a few weeks or so ago.

Hello ! I'm Aymeric, and I'm here to help !

Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three dots at the top-right corner of your screen. Click on Settings, and on the new tab that opens, click on "Languages" , on the left.

Once done, can you provide a screenshot of what's displayed on the screen ?

You'll have to make sure that the "Offer to translate pages that aren't in a language I read" option is enabled. If that's not the case, the icon will not be shown.

Looking forward to your answer !

    Thanks a lot.

Try to reset your Edge browser by entering the following link in your Edge address bar : " edge://settings/resetProfileSettings "

Everything looks correctly set up, so I think it's more of a problem with Microsoft Edge.

Once Edge has been reset, try again.
