Why is "Shared Experiences" a mandatory thing to turn on or face the wrath of notifications in the task bar claiming "Problem with your Microsoft Account"?  I have no other devices to share to.... SMH... this should be an OPTIONAL thing... and I cannot find any way to PERMANENTLY turn it off... P.S. I HAVE TRIED ALL OF YOUR SUGGESTED FIXES NOTHING STOPS IT...  Turning it off then on, logging out and in of my account... Everyday logging on to find that I have this Error notification is making me disappointed in Microsoft all together... and the fact that the best Techs on their help sites tell everyone...  "Just Re-Log into your account" means they do not have a fix or clue how to fix....  seamless upgrade from 8 this was not.... NOW.... does anyone else have any suggested fixes?  Freaking Microsoft whats with the invasion of my privacy?  Why do you make me change passwords to fix your software glitch?

    Mike,

    Your disappointments are understandable.

For us to be accurate on trying to help you in this matter, please provide us the exact error notification/message.

In Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (ver. 1709), the Shared Experiences can be turned off by simply going to Settings > System > Shared experiences > Toggle the Share across devices option OFF.

For initial troubleshooting, you can try the https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/13976.how-to-troubleshoot-microsoft-account-issues.aspx[*Microsoft Account Troubleshooter tool*](http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/4/F24D0C03-4181-4E5B-A23B-5C3A6B5974E3/microsoftaccounts.diagcab), and see if it will be able to bring any results in hand. Take of the message-return of the tool and get back to us if there's no single fix applied.

We'll be waiting for your reply. Please remember to bring the exact error notification. That will help us funnel down the issue a lot easier.

    Kind regards.

Well, the steps that we've provided is for us to turn OFF the Shared Experiences feature. Upon disabling the said feature, we're expecting that its notification will also be disabled.

Here is another method that you can try:

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. On its search tab, type Notifications, and click the suggestion for Notifications and action settings.
    3. Under it, turn OFF the following and observe:

    - Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows

    - Get notifications from apps and other sender (options)

By the way. Was the  https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/13976.how-to-troubleshoot-microsoft-account-issues.aspx[*Microsoft Account Troubleshooter*](http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/4/F24D0C03-4181-4E5B-A23B-5C3A6B5974E3/microsoftaccounts.diagcab)  able to bring anything in hand?
