AND AFTER LOGIN THE DESKTOP ICONS LOOK BIGGER AND GREEN LINES CONTINUE TO FLICKER ALL OVER THE DISPLAY. LOOKS LIKE AS IF AFTER FRESH WIN INSTALLTION BEFORE INSTALLING GRAPHIC CARD DRIVERS FOR EVERYTHING APPEARING BIGGER ON THE DISPLAY.

FOR DISPLAY DRIVER STATUS UNDER GRAPHIC CARD IS Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43).

I TRIED CHANGING THE RESOLUTION OF THE SCREEN ITS 100% ONLY AND I CAN'T CHANGE IT TOO. IN MONITOR PROPERTIES AUTO ADJUST SCREEN IS DISABLED AND MAX RESOLUTION IS 1080P BUT RESOLUTION SELECTED IS 480P (AS PER THE PICTURE ATTACHED)

Hi, I am an Independent Advisor.

Let me help you with this concern.

I understand that your computer shows horizontal lines even on the boot-up process or on the manufacturer's logo.

It is an indication that your graphics card is already failing.

To confirm this, please run a hardware diagnostics on your PC.

If you are using a Dell Desktop, please follow the instructions on this link on how to run the diagnostics.

Hello, thank you for getting back to me.

Since you are running an ASUS motherboard, please try to go to the BIOS by restarting your PC and then on the manufacturer logo tap on F2.

If the lines are seen there then it could mean a failure on the video card.

To check if your monitor works fine, try connecting it to another PC and see if there would be lines. If none, then it is your video card which is failing, if the monitor has lines when connected to another PC then the problem is with the monitor.

If you have another monitor please try it on your PC as well.

When the monitor starts displaying Dell logo and saying hdmi input that time there are no green lines. Soon after when the motherboard logo appears green lines fill the screen. And in bios too the green lines appears.

Okay thanks, then it only means that your video card is the one that needs to be replaced.
