How do you permanently turn off new outlook?

I don't like it, I don't want it, I am not going to switch to it, and I never want to see it again. For the longest time it would periodically switch to the new outlook, I would turn it off, and submit feedback stating the previous. Now it auto opens every single time. I do not ever want to see the new outlook again for the rest of my life. Do not make me switch to Mac or Linux or whatever because I am petty and will eventually become so disgruntled and delete everything Microsoft and never spend another dime on anything they make over something stupid. I want to know a way to permanently delete the new outlook off my system so it doesn't get to that point.

Hi, I'm Diane and I'm happy to help you today.

If you are using classic Outlook desktop software that is installed with Office desktop software, you should be able to switch back to classic Outlook from the Help menu, if not, you need to edit the registry. You can remove the New Outlook switch from it by editing the registry.

The registry keys you need to edit are in this article: https://www.slipstick.com/outlook/classic-outlook-not-new-outlook/

Let me know how it goes, I'm here to help you further if needed.

Another im a long line of useless Microsoft "replies" that doesn't tell you simply how to turn off the moronic new Outlook; refers instead to yet to another idiotic Microsoft treatise.

I am trashing approx. 70 Windows machines at my business next week and converting to Apple.

I also do not want this new outlook and it keeps coming up. Today I don't even have the option for the classic. They have removed the icon and all the helps I read say what to do to get rid of the new one but I have no toggle to switch off and I have no "file" to go to.

I will have to resort to gmail if they continue this nonsense. I don't like the new one at all. I don't want it, I hate it.

Thanks that I'm not the only one. I hope they stop forcing it on us.
