When try to save a quick table no option is given to save as quick table

I followed he instruction below from

  1. Open the source document whose table you will save as table style, select the whole table, and press Ctrl+ C keys together to copy it.
  2. Put cursor at blank paragraph, press Ctrl + V keys to paste it, and then press Delete key to clear all table content.
  3. Select the new blank table, and click Insert > Table > Quick Tables > Save Selection to Quick Tables Gallery

When I get to this part the Quick Tables is not clickable

    I am an Independent Advisor and it will be a pleasure to help you today.

    In response to your question, I want to know if you have tried this in another document, and with a new table entirely.

    If the problwm persist, you may want to try opening word in safe mode and repeating the same process.

    To start Word in safe mode, press the CTRL key, and then click on a Word document to open. You will see the following dialog box. Once you have clicked on Yes, Word will open in safe mode.

    The command works fine here, as illustrated by the screen shot.

    Verify that the table is still selected when you try to access the Save Selection to Quick Tables Gallery command. 

    Also, just in case, make sure that the table is in the main body of the document before clicking Save Selection...
