Hi there,

How can I manually remove Office 16 Click-to-Run Extensibility Component 64-bit Registration?

I removed office 365 by following

https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Manually-uninstall-Office-2016-or-Office-365-4e2904ea-25c8-4544-99ee-17696bb3027b

and that is still not enough.

now I cannot reinstall it because of Office 16 Click-to-Run Extensibility Component 64-bit Registration

Thank you,

Robert

    Hi Robert,

To completely uninstall your Office applications, we suggest you use the “easy fix” tool from this article.

To uninstall Office 16 Click-to-Run Extensibility Component 64-bit Registration, please try the steps below:

    1. Press Win + R to open the Run window, type “installer” and click Enter to open the folder in File Explorer.
    2. Add the column “Subject”. Right click the column headers, then click More and select Subject
    3. Sort on the Subject column and scroll down until you locate the name “Office 16 Click-to-Run Extensibility Component 64-bit Registration”.

    Hi Jiaxing,

Thank you for your suggestion, this actually helped. It didn't work after I run the easy fix tool, but then I have started it again and it deleted Office 64-bit version.

    Thank you,

    Best wishes,

    Robert

I've got the same problem, but a german version of Windows. So does anybody know the german name for the column "subject". The word "subject" is so unspecific, it could be anything, and there are lots of columns to choose from... ;-)

    Hi André,

I wish I could be more precise, but I'm not sure what the exact word would be for that column; however, perhaps I can give you an idea by providing a list of suggested words (and like you said, "it could be anything"!) that are all used (in one form or another) in german for the word "subject":

    • (das) Thema
    • (das) Gegenstand
    • (das) Subjekt
    • (das) Motiv
    • (das) Fach
    • (das) Objekt
    • (die) Sache
    • (das) Sujet
    • (der) Untertan
    • (der) Stoff
    • (der) Grund
    • (das) Studienfach
    • (der) Staatsbürger
    • Staatsangehörige
    • unterworfen
    • untertan
    • unterwerfen
    • unterziehen
    • zerschlagen

    Sure hopes this helps! :-)

    Wade
