Hi Cindy, this is Bryll
Thank you for writing us here in Microsoft Community.
New Outlook for Windows is a Free app pre-installed on Windows 10/11. Meanwhile, Outlook from an installed Microsoft Office suite is part of a paid Microsoft Office license or subscription.
As I know, New Outlook for Windows is still on its infancy and not fully developed yet, and some account types may not be supported at this time.
If your account type is not currently supported, to quickly obtain account support, it is recommended that you could post the functions you expect and your sincere suggestions on the Outlook · Community (microsoft.com)
For the meantime, you may switch out of New Outlook for Windows and go back to the Classic Windows mail to continue your email access: Toggling out of the new Outlook for Windows preview - Microsoft Support
For you to move your mailbox emails, notes, contact list, calendar data from one account to another, we would recommend for you to use the installed Outlook application under a paid Microsoft Office license Buy Microsoft Outlook (PC or Mac) | Price of Outlook with Microsoft 365 or Standalone where Exporting and Importing feature is available. Please See Import and export Outlook email, contacts, and calendar - Microsoft Support
If you are using Microsoft hosted email domain like @Hotmail.com or @Outlook.com, you can inform your contacts about your new email address by creating an automatic reply Send automatic out of office replies from Outlook.com or Outlook on the web - Microsoft Support through Outlook.com online website. This is also available in the Installed version of Outlook application under a paid Microsoft Office license.
Let us know if further help is needed and we will get back to you as soon as we can. We may recommend other strategies.
Thank you for letting me share my thoughts and possibly address your issues. This is my way of helping you out.
Yours truly,
Bryll
