I used to be able to turn this feature on and off.  Now it does not show.  Why?

Why I need it is because I travel and some places the internet fails.

Offline mode was removed from Outlook on the web, due to low usage and the potential for data leakage (if the user enabled it on a shared or public computer).

Use the link for classic if you need offline, but note that you will need drop back to the new outlook on the web when you refresh the page.

    Hello Steve

Thank you for participating in the Microsoft Community, My name is Miguel T. I'm an independent Advisor

Use this link to go the previous version of OWA:

    https://outlook.office.com/owa/?path=/options/o...

You will find the option to work in Offline Mode.

If you want to know how to get there manually:

Login to https://portal.office.com - Top right click your icon and select "My Account". Here in the top right again click the cog, then down at the bottom under "Your app settings" select "Mail".

I hope this information has been useful, please let me know if you still need assistance.

Thanks, I will move on.  I tried to go back to classic view and was not able to.  even when I clicked on https://outlook.office.com/owa/?path=/options/offlinesettings and the back arrow it returned to new view.  Thanks for all your input.

I am using the newest version of edge.  When I click on settings I get the attached snapshot.  When I click on "View all Outlook settings", I get the second snapshot.  Offline setting are no where to be seen.

I suggest you do maintenance on your browser, clear cache memory and browsing history to ensure that your browser information is not generating any problems. once this is done restart your pc and check again to see if the problem persists
