DPC Watchdog Violation BSOD on a new laptop

New laptop with Windows 11 Pro.

AMD 7840U

780M GPU

64GB RAM (5600 CL40)

2TB NVME Gen 4.

Currently running the latest GPU driver, but other than that it's the default driver recommended by the manufacturer. Got the same BSOD with their GPU driver too.

Any ideas on how to solve it?

    Hi , LightofHonor89

I am Ivan, I will help you with this.

The minidump files are not available for download for verification and it is possible to adjust this to be able to analyze.

    Hi ,LightofHonor89

First let's clean the drivers then do a clean boot, this error is related to the graphics driver but I can't tell if it's a hardware failure.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-t...

If not, follow the processing below:

    Driver de Video AMD

    https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/whql-amd-softwa...

Get the 7/25 version to test.

    https://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/games/PC/guru3d/ddu/[Guru3D.com]-DDU.zip

Note: DDU is a third party application to completely erase the video driver and reinstall it.

Note: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to provide accurate and secure information. Beware of ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before deciding to download and install it.

    1. After downloading, extract the ddu to a folder.
    2. Run the driver screen uninstaller.exe application, select the Model tab, put GPU and AMD and Intel.

After uninstalling the Video Driver Uninstall the for intel..

    1. Click on the second option clean and do not reboot and wait for the process to finish.

4 After the process finished in the DDU and install the new video driver and then restart the computer and do the test.
