When using the high contrast mode in Teams the circles that indicate someone's status aren't distinguishable. Is there something that can be done to correct this so we can continue to use this feature?

Hi Nicole_1992, Welcome to the Microsoft Community. I am a Microsoft user just like you, and I hope you are well.

When using the high contrast mode in Teams, the circles that indicate someone's status may not be distinguishable. Here are some steps that can be taken to correct this issue:

    1. Check if the high contrast mode is turned on in Windows settings. If it is, turn it off and see if the circles become distinguishable again.
    2. If the high contrast mode is necessary, try changing the theme to a different high contrast theme. This may help to make the circles more distinguishable.
    3. If changing the theme does not work, try adjusting the contrast and brightness settings on the monitor. This may help to make the circles more visible.
    4. Adjust the color scheme: Teams allows users to customize the color scheme, including the color of status indicators. By selecting colors that provide better contrast in high contrast mode, the visibility of status indicators can be improved. To change the color scheme in Teams, follow these steps:

    a. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the Teams app. b. Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu. c. In the Settings menu, go to the "General" tab. d. Under the "Appearance" section, choose a color scheme that provides better contrast for status indicators.

I hope this is helpful! Best Regards, Utkarsh
