Hello,
It says there are supposed to be many templates with OneNote 2010 and also many more than can be downloaded from office.com, but I can't find either one of these. I've looked at New Page | Page Templates but there's nothing there, and also "Templates at office.com" and there's nothing there either, only templates for other Office programs.
I see pages everywhere on office.com pushing you to use Office365, but I can't afford that (and I'm sure there are many others who can't), so I should be able to use the expensive Office 2010 I already paid for, even if it is outdated.
Where can I find all these templates?

The truth is that Microsoft some years ago removed all these templates for OneNote 2010.

Why would they do that?
IMO they want to kill this feature. Only the Onenote from Office still supports this feature. The problem of the templates feature is the local storage of the templates. So even between Windows desktop Onenotes like yours you cannot share templates on the cloud aka Onedrive.

I'm not saying there are new templates, just that there are supposed to be templates already in OneNote (by clicking New Page | Page Templates), but there are not, and then it says "go to office.com for more OneNote templates," and there are none there either, only for Word and Excel and Powerpoint. It's not a matter of keeping the templates updated, but just keeping them available to OneNote 2010 users.

Since OneNote 2010 is already an old version of Onenote, it could be that the templates are not being updated anymore. Can you confirm us where have you seen that oneNote2010 has new templates? We would appreciate it if you can attach a screenshot for us to look into this further for you.
