How do I use Microsoft Edge Drop to Share files in Windows 11/10

I would like to know how to use Microsoft Edge Drop to share files and personal notes on Windows 10 and 11 computer.

I read that Microsoft has introduced a new feature called Drop to its Edge browser feature. Hw do I use it to share files on windows?

First of all before anything, you should update Microsoft Edge to get this feature. This new feature has started rolling out to users. If you haven’t received it yet, you need to wait till you get this feature.

That being said, to share files using Microsoft Edge Drop;

Enable or turn on Microsoft Edge Drop.
Share files and notes using Microsoft Edge Drop.
Download files shared by you using Microsoft Edge Drop.

Hi , I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

The feature is not yet available on the stable version of Edge. But you can check Edge Canary to try if it is available for you. You can use it to share files as long as you are using the same MS account on both your Windows 11 and Windows 10 and it should be signed in on the Edge version that currently has that feature.
