My Publisher files are appearing as PDFs

Hi everyone, Every time I create a new Publisher document, it saves an Adobe PDF and I have to right click the icon and go to "Open With" in order to edit it. How do I save my Publisher files as .pub, not .pdf? Thanks, Holly x
