Interesting and free resources

I took a venture out to codeplex to browse through what new interesting tools, components etc that people are developing.  It always amazes me how much good items are out there.  Below are some that maybe of interest:

1. Sharemap - this is a framework that allows the use of custom graphics and arts and mesh this up with GEO data.  https://www.codeplex.com/SharpMap

2. Project 2007 and VSTS 2005 project connector - if you need to create sync between the two, this is a good tool to consider.  https://www.codeplex.com/pstfsconnector

3. SDC Tasks - this one is for the big project system developers.  Contains  alot of useful tools to help with large project development.  https://www.codeplex.com/sdctasks
