Azure Disk Encryption available / verfügbar in Azure Germany

We are happy to announce the general availability of Azure Disk Encryption in Azure Germany.

This service was available as preview since March and enables customers to protect the OS and data disk at rest using industry standard encryption technology. Azure Disk Encryption leverages the industry standard BitLocker feature of Windows and the DM-Crypt feature of Linux to provide OS and data disk encryption to help protect and safeguard your data on Windows and Linux Standard tier VMs (A, D, D, G, GS etc). The solution is integrated with Azure Key Vault to help you safeguard, control and manage the disk encryption keys and secrets in your key vault subscription, while ensuring that all data in the virtual machine disks are encrypted at rest in your Azure storage.

Wir freuen uns, die generelle Verfügbarkeit von Azure Disk Encryption für Azure Deutschland bekannt zu geben.

Dieser Service war bereits seit März in der Preview verfügbar und ermöglicht es Kunden, Betriebssystem- oder Datenpartitionen von VMs mit Verschlüsselungstechnologien nach Industriestandard zu schützen. Mit Azure Disk Encryption lassen sich - aufbauend auf Bitlocker bzw. DM-Crypt - Windows und Linux IaaS VMs der Standard-Tiers (A, D DS, G, GS etc) verschlüsseln. Die Lösung ist integriert in Azure KeyVault, um die Schlüssel sicher aufbewahren, kontrollieren und managen zu können.
