Announcing BizTalk 2010 CU1

Hi,

It is a pleasure to announce the release of first Cumulative Update for BizTalk Server 2010 on behalf of BPD Sustained Engineering group.  This CU is a comprehensive package of ported fixes from Adaptor pack 2.0 and BizTalk Server 2009. 

It has been a very deliberate effort to ensure that BizTalk 2010 customers have the benefit of a unified package for all of BizTalk. The CU is a result of sustained proactive effort of the product team to address all known issues, irrespective of a customer escalation.  BizTalk 2010 CU1 includes 31 fixes, most of which are related to BizTalk Adaptor Pack (BAP) and EDI.    

What’s in it for customers:

  • New HIPAA 5010 Errata Schema update is included in BizTalk 2010 CU1 package. We are using CU as a delivery mechanism to distribute the Errata schemas available widely as these are applicable to all HIPAA customers.  The installation of the schemas is a manual process based on customer requirements.
  • BizTalk Adaptor Pack (BAP) had only one customer reported issue ever since BizTalk 2010 was released six months ago, reflecting on the product’s quality.

All applicable fixes are ported from previous earlier versions to BAP 2010 CU1.

Required fixes were ported from all earlier BizTalk versions to 2010 and considered in this CU.  Details about the fixes per feature Area are in below section called “Fixes Per Feature Area”
