Don't Forget to Register for ESC West!
There are only 3 weeks left until the Embedded Systems Conference (Silicon Valley), held this year in San Jose from April 14-18th. That means there is still time for you to register to attend!. There are a number of price packages available, depending on which events, sessions, workshops, exhibits etc. you want to attend. You can sign up to attend only one session or the entire 5 days.
There are 2 days of presentation sessions , created and delivered by Embedded Windows product team members and some of our MVPs. It is a great way to meet up with the product team and ask any nagging technical questions you may have. Here is the list of sessions:
- Introduction to Windows XP Embedded
- Creating Custom Components for Windows XP Embedded
- Protect a Windows XP Embedded Image Using Write Filters
- Choose the Right Boot Technology in Windows XP Embedded
- Windows XP Embedded: Remote Debugging and Recovery
- Beyond Windows XP Embedded
There are also 6 Hands-On labs that allow you to work through tasks and exercises at your own pace- a great way to learn about different aspects of the product and dig deeper into some of the concepts. Here is teh list of HOLs:
- Build a Windows XP Embedded Image with a Custom Shell
- End to End Componentization of an Application for Windows XP Embedded
- Experience the Difference in Windows XP Embedded Image Difference Engine
- Locking Down Windows XP Embedded and Windows Embedded Point of Service
- Understand File Based Write Filter in Windows XP Embedded
- Using Windows XP Embedded Command Line Tool to Script and Automate Your Embedded Build Processes
Be sure to also take a look at some of the other Windows Embedded product offerings (such as grabbing a development kit loaded with Windows CE 6.0 R2 and participating in the Build an Embedded System workshop).
Hope to see you there!
