We got a message in Message Center April 1st. Message ID : MC764454 ,
"We will begin this rollout in late March 2024 and complete by mid-April
2024."I can only assume at this point the change has been completed?
There isn't any further status information. But if anyone from Microsoft
can confirm?
Really don't care about removing the "last server" and I can get along
just fine without the ability to perform an underlying OS upgrade..I
would much prefer to see Microsoft focused on DKIM/DMARC/etc as well as
meaningful QA of CUs and SUs so that we never see another fiasco like
the March 2024 SU ...
@DavidYorkshire, yes in-place upgrade is supported in single server
environments, too. As for OWA, nothing to share at this time, but it is
something we're looking into post Exchange SE CU1.
So as regards in-place upgrade, what if there is just one on-prem
server? Is in-place upgrade still possible (with downtime, obviously)?
Also, is the OWA portal being redesigned to bring it more up to date?
