TFS over the years and upgrade cycle

It is heartening to note that MS DevDiv takes care of TFS customers so well. Today (1/23/2017) Brian Harry announced the TFS 2017 U1 RC. In it he posted a pic of the great extent to which the Product Group goes to bring customers forward. Customers on 2005 version of TFS - yes - that's correct from a version of TFS an absolute 12 years ago can upgrade to TFS 2017. I really wonder if there is any other vendor who does this amount of engineering to take care of the customers and help them modernize.
