Jérôme LABAN has built an application for Windows Mobile which you can use to remotely control via bluetooth applications like Winamp, the Windows Mixer, the Windows Media Player, PowerPoint, Media Player Classic, PowerDVD, with more coming... such as the Vista's Media Center.

    Jason Langridge points out a free little app for Windows Mobile that allows you to use your smartphone as a remote control for certain software on your desktop (like, WinAmp or Powerpoint). Looks like a neat (and free) alternative to the already popular

    I've also reviewed this application some weeks ago in the Multimedia Remote Controller Bible (the source for ALL information on remote controlling multimedia stuff) and has given it a highly recommended - as long as you can live with the restrictions.
