Visually Impaired use of Windows Mobile

Last week I spent some time talking with one of my colleagues who has just joined Microsoft.  He is blind and I was really interested to know how he used his Windows Mobile device.

The secret to his success of using his device seemed to be a solution from CodeFactory called Mobile Speak Pocket

This is a screen reader solution but also provides text to speech in 15 languages and even allows support for Braille devices as well as virtual buttons on the device to make the device more accessible to the blind.

You can get more details on the solution HERE
