Announcing the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Coding Contest Winners

As we approach the dog days of Summer, it is time to announce the winners of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM coding contest. The winners are Justin Santa Barbara with his CRM Sync Tool for Web Servers and James Downey for his FetchXML Builder.

The Sync Tool handles any remote data location such as a web server so that information is available without waiting and holding a connection. FetchXML is the query language for retrieving data through the Dynamics CRM web services API.”   Both are still available at the Microsoft CRM Sandbox.

Here is a little more about each from the talented winners themselves.

Justin Santa Barbara is the founder of Consonica, an ISV producing solutions for Microsoft developers.  He’s a massive fan of Microsoft CRM 3 and uses the CRM Sync tool to integrate Consonica’s website and software licensing system into CRM.  Look for CRM Sync on CodePlex soon, and also keep an eye on his latest project, a smart-client for CRM offering tabbed browsing for CRM and more.

James Downey, MCP is president of Tekatur. Tekatur specializes exclusively in Dynamics CRM. Through an offshore development center, Tekatur provides Dynamics CRM customization services to Microsoft partners worldwide to enable them to better serve their customers. Tekatur’s mission is to help Microsoft partners seize the Dynamics CRM market opportunity.

Each winner will be receiving a free Xbox 360 and our thanks for providing interesting solutions for the CRM community to use and vote for.
