Create your own Quote template using Microsoft Office Word
You can create your own template by using Office Word that contains your organization's letterhead and other items related to your business. Then, you can export the quote, order, or invoice directly from the view list by clicking Export on the Actions toolbar, or to get more detail, you could define an advanced find search for invoices that includes the fields that you want to print, export the results to Excel, and then merge those results with your Word template that contains specific formatting.
There is more information about advanced find and exporting in the online Help. You can open the online Help from the Web client by clicking Contents on the Help menu.
- For advanced find help, expand Finding and Analyzing Information, and then click "Search for records by using a customized search".
- For export to a list, expand Finding and Analyzing Information, and then click "Export a list."
- For more information about mail merge and creating templates in Word, see the following Web site:

Alternatively, you might try a third-party solution as many exist for Microsoft Dynamics CRM. For example, an add-on is available at the Microsoft CRM Sandbox which is a community-driven Web site. Go to downloads section and check out: "Quotes Orders Invoice Form Reports __Corrected for Product ID".
This is a set of Quote, Order and Invoice reports that you publish in CRM and expose through the individual forms. They can offer a better alternative than the Print Preview offered by Microsoft CRM and the reports are context sensitive and are visible and run from the quote, order, and invoice forms. Additionally, if your customer resides in another locale where the number format is different, these reports allow you to change the number format.
