Our new Blog Digs - Changes abound

The MSDN team rolled out a new version of the blog engine we use here at Microsoft. Version 2.1 fixes some problems that I had on other browsers so that my beautiful prose is now visible on the most popular browser software. However, it still looks the best, to my eyes, on Internet Explorer 7.

One of the changes you might notice is that the page loads faster. I really appreciate this as I practically live on the Internet and it allows me to do my work just that much fast. Then there is the Tag Cloud which my friend Josh Legard blogs about. There is some controversy about the value of this visual means of determining what a blog is really about at a glance, but again, this just makes it easier for me to determine what any particular blog is about.

Under the covers and unseen by you they have fixed some of the arcane methods of creating a new post that should speed up that process too. Syndication is made a bit easier too so that you get notices when new posts are made using your favorite RSS reader. And all of this is just from a cursorory first look at the toolset. Now I'm off to figure out what other goodies have been made.
